G2 board entirely freezes on the Android side and becomes unresponsive

The G2 board entirely freezes on the Android side and becomes unresponsive. Once the board freezes, the only way to fix the issue is to turn off the power switch on the side of the board. 
The main circular power button on the front of the board does not even work when it freezes and becomes unresponsive. It freezes up to 3-4 times a day while using Microsoft Edge on regular sites like the Google Suite and Youtube. 
A system factory reset on the Android side has been performed several times to no avail. It seems like a hardware problem because the board still freezes.
